A-779 is a potent and selective Ang-(1-7) antagonist. A-779 antagonizes several action of Ang-(1-7) . including A-779's antidiurectic effect and the changes in MAP produced by Ang-(1-7) microinjection into the dorsomedial or ventrolateral medulla.
